Introduction
Micro Training and Consultancy Sdn Bhd (MiTaC) is a new outfit established by Micro Energy Holdings (M) Sdn Bhd (MEHSB) to train unemployed, unskilled and also upskilling or re-skilling participants in the area of solar and renewable energy education, knowledge, technical and soft skills with hands-on practical sessions.
This company started as a unit under Micro Energy Holdings (M) Sdn Bhd (MEHSB) to provide in-house quality, customised and the requirements needed by projects awarded to MEHSB. Hence, the training must meet strictly and as specified by clients, by the project processes and components to complete.
MiTaC plans to be the credible and reliable workforce feeder for companies or projects in need of trained and qualified workers in Malaysia. Additionally, participants who successfully complete MiTaC courses may be offered employment either with MEHSB or other solar energy and systems companies in Malaysia.
MiTaC is 100% supported by MEHSB with its engineers and practitioners as coordinators, consultants, mentors and trainers. The modules were constructed and designed to suit the requirements of the solar and renewable energy industries that can have all participants to be skillful and market-ready. Additionally, graduates can even venture to run their own solar energy business as entrepreneurs.
Additionally, MiTaC offers its comprehensive and holistic training experience of technical and soft skills such as teamwork, time management and communication skills to its participants.
MiTaC workshops also prepare participants and its graduates with ICT and digital communication skills to be more competitive in the IR4 era.

In its process to start and produce its pioneer batch, MiTaC seeks the partnership and collaboration with local universities or higher institutes of learning (HIL) to offer a supplementary professional certificate to electrical and civil engineering or business management students to enrol in our two-week course with face-to-face interactions during weekends and one week of practical training. A certificate of completion will be awarded and also the option of being employed. A student majoring in electrical engineering can be certified as minoring in solar energy (basic to advance knowledge) on solar and renewable energy education as well as practical training upon successful completion.
